With a household as busy as any other, I realize that sometimes we all just need a break. Not a vacation. Not a long weekend. We’re talking hours -- a few precious hours. After a particularly long week at work I found myself at one of those ‘sometimes’ moments. But that night just the thought of trying to find a last-minute babysitter left me exhausted. So, instead of taking a break, I stayed in. No dinner out. No run on the beach. No time away.
And then I thought, “There’s gotta’ be an app-for-that!”
I created Bambino to help bring balance back into our lives, because being a parent and a functioning adult should not be mutually exclusive.
With Bambino we are modernizing how parents find, book, and pay peer-recommended, trusted, neighborhood babysitters. We're restoring flexibility back into the lives of the people who deserve it most, the parents.

Sean Greene Founder
Sean lives in Pacific Palisades with his dog and high school-age son while his older son and daughter are off at college . When he’s not leading the charge with Bambino, Sean enjoys spending time with his family, sailing, hiking, and cooking.
Prior to Bambino, Sean spent 20 years in the print and online marketing sector working for Dex Media and Trader Publishing, and most recently he was CEO of MatchCraft, a global provider of search engine marketing and bid management software. In addition to Bambino, Sean currently serves as a Board Member of SafetySkills (an online learning company) and enjoys serving as a mentor for other entrepreneurs.
Sara Snow Chief Marketing Officer
As a former resident of Pacific Palisades, California, and a current resident of Westport, Connecticut, Sara enjoys nothing more than spending time with her husband and their 2 daughters.
Sara is an Emmy winning TV host, anchor, and producer, frequent public speaker and media contributor to CNN, Good Morning America, The Early Show, and numerous monthly magazines. Snow is a published author and has served as brand spokesperson and helped launch successful media campaigns for Johnson & Johnson, Clorox, Lipton, Whirlpool, and others.
Steve Sobolevsky Chief Technology Officer
Steve has a long and varied tenure in the app and technology space. As co-founder and CEO of Knowzz, Sobolevsky developed a mobile app for trusted recommendations of local providers from friends and neighbors. Steve also served as CTO of Instantly and Whisper, and was the founder and CEO of the technology, design and development firm, Nimble.LA.
He is a proud father of two and currently resides in Los Angeles.
Scott Sasser Director of Operations and Legal Affairs
Scott is Bambino's resident operations expert and in-house counsel. He thrives on innovation and driving change, which led him into the tech space after a stint practicing law as a civil litigation attorney. His operational expertise stems from his military background and inspires his innovative approach to solving business problems.
Scott is a combat veteran and served as a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, representing the organization as a spokesperson and strategic communications specialist around the world. He has jumped out of helicopters into the ocean, but these days, he just hopes to justify owning a GoPro camera. While not managing the day-to-day operations at Bambino, Scott enjoys learning about new technology and exploring Santa Monica on his beach cruiser.
Carolyn Rodeno Director of Community Engagement and Communications
Also a Palisadian and the mother of 3, Carolyn is all too familiar with the trials and tribulations of parents’ babysitting needs. Following 20 years in the marketing and promotions industry, Carolyn has ventured into the startup world following her more recent gigs in Social Media and eCommerce for Storitz.com and Rogue Apparel Group.
Carolyn currently sits on the Board of Sisters of Sojourn (OPCC) and The National League of Young Men (NLYM) helping with fundraising, social media and event planning. In her spare time, Carolyn is captain of her competitive league tennis team, and she loves shopping, traveling and entertaining.
Emily Clark Manager of Sitter Procurement and Engagement
As our Manager of Sitter Acquisition & Engagement, Emily definitely knows the ins and outs of babysitting. Her passion for children and families led her to the University of Wisconsin where she studied Human Development & Family Studies. In addition to her extensive experience in the childcare industry, Emily has worked in marketing, business development, and sales.
When she isn't at the office, Emily can likely be found running along the beach, at a yoga class, or spending time with friends and family...or babysitting for local families.
